Hello there! I am Marjorie van Elven, a journalist and copywriter with over 13 years of experience writing news, press releases, marketing materials, and social media posts in English, Brazilian Portuguese, and Dutch.

I was born in Brazil, but moved abroad in 2011 to pursue a Master’s degree in Gender Studies in Budapest, Hungary, and Utrecht, the Netherlands. The latter became my forever home.

After becoming a Dutch citizen and learning to speak Dutch fluently, I started translating articles from Dutch to English and writing my own articles in Dutch as well.
